September 15, 2009 - FPA of Florida Government Relations Director Charlie Fitzgerald and FPA of Florida Secretary Claudia Sachs were in Tallahassee to raise awareness with Florida regulators about financial planning and FPA's Financial Planning Week. Mr. Fitzgerald and Ms. Sachs had the opportunity to address the Cabinet (pictured right). Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink shared why financial planning is important during the Cabinet Meeting. "Everyone has a role when it comes to financial planning, if you're old enough to spend money then you have a role when it comes to financial planning," said Charlie Fitzgerald as he addressed.
 While in Tallahassee, Claudia and Charlie met with Legislative Affairs Director Darrick D. McGhee (Office of Legislative Affairs), and Deputy Chief Financial Officer Tammy Teston. Pictured left with Claudia and Charlie are Bureau Chief Pam Epting (Office of Financial Regulation) and Cabinet and Legislative Affairs Director Andrea Moreland.
